Lead with your heart...

The energy is heavy. Do you feel it?
Are you feeling fatigued? Not sleeping? Anxiety? Depression?
Then I suspect you’re feeling the energy in the air right now. It’s palpable. Life is hard --- and it seems as if it’s getting harder.
If you didn’t feel it before----are you feeling it now???
Sorry, not a great way to start a positive message, but it gets better, hang in there. 🤣
Have you heard it said that humans use only 10% of their brains?
The conscious mind, the part that plans, sees, hears, tastes, touches, moves, and makes choices,
only needs
10% of the brain to function
. So, what happens in the other 90%?
That is the unconscious mind. The part of the brain that we are essentially unaware of.
This part of the brain controls all the automatic functions of our body. We do not need to think about making our heart pump, or our lungs inhale air. It happens automatically. Even though we are unaware of it, the unconscious mind also controls our lives and our choices. Like a recording device, it records every moment of our life and every reaction to every moment. Every conversation we have ever had and every thought we have ever had. Every single one of them. Yikes …. that’s scary! LOL
😬
Every moment of our life has an emotion attached to it and that emotion is stored away neatly in our unconscious minds.
So let’s go back to the heavy energy we are all feeling. We are focused on it. We watch the news; we hide out from family and friends. We are afraid --- living a life of fear. We have become prisoners in our own minds. AND…all this is being stored in that neat little recorder in our mind.
The problem is that these emotions, fears, and reactions all stay stored. When a similar event occurs, we draw from past experience and past reactions --- and do the same thing over again!
It is called programming. We are programming fear, hatred, anger, anxiety, sadness, and a plethora of other lower vibrational emotions away in our unconscious minds for further use.
Read that again!
These emotions then become our new normal. It is how we react. Like a merry-go-round that we can never stop, UNLESS, that is, we decide to put our foot down and stop the spinning.
Let me use myself as an example simply because I know my mind and my patterns. When something scares me, I run. So a red flag appears as something that is a legitimate cause for concern but,
instead of stepping back and watching to see which direction that flag goes --- I give up and walk away
. That is called being non-confrontational. It is a programmed response. So when life presents me with something that shakes me, I recognize that I have a choice. Repeat the runaway program ---
or stop
– step back and see what happens.
If I confront the discomfort head-on and practice the belief that " whatever happens is as it should be
" I can begin to write a new program and new way of living. It is not good or bad, it’s just a different path ---- one I may not have walked before!
I need to add this one statement to what I have just said. Years back, someone told me “ I always tell people to step into their discomfort --- unless --- their subconscious mind is screaming 'hell no'. ”
So, remember, uncomfortable is one thing --- but if your body and mind scream "hell no"
--- pay attention
.
So how do you change your patterns? Harness your emotional intelligence and recognize what is happening. Then step into your discomfort and do something different
. It does not matter how small the change is, one slight difference begins the process of changing to a new program. You can do it!
Our world is heavy and at times dark. Don't focus there. Focus on the light
. The happiness. The moments of joy. And, beyond all things --- the love
! It is everywhere, and when we choose to collectively focus our attention on the higher vibrational emotions we will turn this all around. Stop all the nonsense and step into your unconscious mind --- your discomfort --- and take back your power.
Have a powerful week!
"The people have the power. All we have to do is awaken the power in the people."
