Drop a glass on the floor... what happens
? It breaks, right?
Now pick up the pieces and carefully glue them back together .
Even if you manage to gather all the pieces, and you manage to carefully reconstruct that glass so that all the pieces are together perfectly...that glass still has cracks, and it can still leak!
Our words have power to them. Everything that comes out of our mouths has the power to lift or to lower another individual. Using the above analogy before we speak is a fantastic way to gauge the words coming out of our mouths and make sure that what we say is helpful. Does that mean that we will never have to reprimand a child or an employee? No it does not.
However, there is
a way to do it that will allow you to lift a person rather than lower a person.
It's all in the words you choose!
Dr. Masaru Emoto did what he called " The Water Experiment
". His central premise was that human beings can affect the shape and molecular structure of water just through conscious intention. His first demonstration of this was by displaying images of frozen water crystals from Fujiwara Dam before and after it was blessed by a monk. He then labeled bottles of water with varying words and thoughts--some positive, some negative-- and froze those samples as well. Using a high powered microscopic camera, he noted the crystal variations in each of the waters. The water with positive affirmations have intricate structures and shiny, diamond like reflective qualities, while those labeled with negative thoughts are deformed and unstructured. Quite telling. This same experiment has been done hundreds of times withe water--also with rice and plants-- with the same results.
Now add this thought...the average human body is 50-65% water!
So how are you talking to yourself? How are you talking to your kids? How are you talking to your employees? How are you talking to strangers?
If water responds to words, then people do too!
So before you speak: THINK!!!!!!!!!!!
“If we understood the power of our thoughts, we would guard them more closely. If we understood the awesome power of our words, we would prefer silence to almost anything negative. In our thoughts and words, we create our own weaknesses and our own strengths.” Betty Eadie
