Motivational Monday: The Power of Faith
(Posted on January 11, 2021)

Faith!
I looked up the word to see what the " dictionary
" had to say. One definition said " complete trust or confidence in something
"; or, " strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof
".
So faith is simply "a belief" rather than "a proven fact".
We're taught, or I feel more inclined to say programmed
, from an early age to have faith. Have faith in everything that someone is teaching us, whether that be knowledge of history, or math, or language or our faith in God.
JUST HAVE FAITH --- h
ow many times has someone said that to you? In my life --- more times than I can count. As an adult, I've used the words more times than I can count. I think if we sit and ponder this question, it will lead us to see that we live our lives on faith. Everyday --- every action!
Sometimes we lose faith in certain things, or in certain people --- or our worlds are shook up completely when something we believed and held true are proven to be false. What happens then?
Everyone reacts differently when their core beliefs are challenged. Some hold true to what they believe and refuse to be challenged. Others, adapt and change to the new way of believing or being. What's right?
Whose to say -- because again "faith" is a belief in something you hold true -- it's not necessarily a proven fact.
Take that a step further. A proven fact! What's proven? Is anything really "proven"? We could ask that question about absolutely anything. What is truly " PROVEN
" in our world that is not someplace else totally " DISPROVEN
". Nothing --- absolutely NOTHING! For every swing of the pendulum there is a swing in the opposite direction.
So in reality, anything that we choose to believe as a truth in our life,
is "proven" true by someone that we put our faith in.
Anything that we do not believe in our life -- is also "proven" by someone that we put our faith in.
So, without a doubt, every moment, every belief, every thought process, every action, every reaction, every single thing is without a doubt " FAITH"
!
So what do you have faith in? Who do you have faith in? Where are you putting your faith? How are you choosing what to put your faith in? Are you strong in your faith?
There's no one solid answer here, if there were, we wouldn't need faith. Evaluate what you believe in this week. Look at everything and recognize that there is always another viewpoint, another side, and that smoke and mirrors can often change what seems to be reality.
Have faith in your truth this week. Don't waiver, stay strong in what resonates in your body and with your vibration.
Together, in faith, we are strong and invincible.
