Motivational Monday: What does your world look like?
(Originally posted on March 16, 2020)

It's been a very interesting week in our world
; lots of fear, panic, and a touch of craziness
. This isn't another commentary about what we all know, but it's more about how we're viewing events in life—not only now, but on a daily basis.
Events like this tend to show us a lot about human nature and ourselves as a society.
Earlier this week I had something happen that really shook me up. I was driving a short distance from my house. Just as I made a left turn, I noticed out of the corner of my eye what I thought was a man stumble and fall face first into some bushes. I quickly made a u-turn to return and see if what I saw was real. It was. He had gotten up, his face was bloody and he was continuing to stumble forward down the street towards a major highway. Another gentleman had stopped aside of me as I was trying to dial my phone for help. I could easily tell there was something more seriously wrong here than just him falling. Sadly ( although I feel it was fortunate as the situation could have turned out worse than it did
) he fell again just before he walked himself onto the highway. At that point we had him convinced to stay put until help arrived. He was in pretty bad shape. About six people in total stopped to help keep him safe until the ambulance arrived. Six people
. Someone had a blanket, someone called for help, and someone put cones down to protect him from danger. Everyone stood around him shielding him from danger of other vehicles. The ambulance arrived and he was taken to help.
That was people helping people!
Then later in the week, news of the Coronavirus became forefront in our news. Schools were being closed, people were told to stay home, travel suspended— and the entire world needed toilet paper
! 🤔
Panic set in. Everyone for themselves. Worse yet, everyone fighting among themselves.
So what did this accomplish? Panic, selfishness, greed, and more FEAR
!
Fear sells
. Did you ever think about that
? What kind of world do we live in when the media hypes something and the world goes crazy. Has the hype been necessary? Perhaps. It's yet to be seen what comes of this. Hopefully, like so many times in the past, this will just be another panic that blows over. Time will tell.
Our world is a reflection of what we put into it. Looking at each of these events individually: love and compassion for other people was put into the first event; while fear, panic, and angst were put into the second event.
The more we feed into hype and fear, the more hype and fear we're going to get. The more we feed into love and compassion, the more love and compassion we're going to get.
Let's take a step back from this craziness and make a conscious choice about what we want to see in our world. Wash your hands, take your supplements, nourish your physical body, and put love and compassion out into the world. Put the fear and angst in a box and let it go
!
What you see in the world is a reflection of who you are! BE LOVE
!!!!!
“Life is an echo. What you send out, comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get. What you see in others, exists in you. Remember, life is an echo. It always gets back to you. So give goodness.
