Motivational Monday: What's going on inside?

Are you stuck in the habitual?
What does that mean? Well, basically we are creatures of habit. We habitually do what we learned and what we know. We form habits. Obviously some habits are beneficial, while others can be detrimenta
l. The majority of the time, we don't even realize we are acting out of habit.
Habits are formed. They can be taught, or they can be learned. Either way, they are set patterns that we believe, and ultimately create within our life.
Overall there are two types of people in the world. Those who are happy --- and those who are not!
There are people in the world who believe their problems extend from external sources
. Something, or someone, other than themselves.
There is always someone or something to blame for why their lives are where they are. They then find confirmation of this belief in their world. For example, they believe the world is volatile and turn on the TV to have that confirmed.
By the same token, there are others who see life differently. They take responsibility for their situations. They use the things that have happened to them to make themselves and others better. With adversity, they gain strength. That is then confirmed in their world.
Your external world, is a mirror or reflection, of what is going on inside of you!
If you spend time looking outside of yourself for solutions to your problems, you will never find a solution to them.
Your life will mirror what you believe and what you think. You will struggle to find your way out of situations that you are not happy in. Nothing will change ---
until you change
.
Your thoughts, and your self talk is the key to this. You are constantly talking to yourself. Stop
for a moment and listen. That loop never stops. Try and silence it. You might be able to for a minute or so, but it will begin again. Listen to the talk. Take notes. Is it positive talk, or is it negative talk? Write down what you're saying. Then look at your words --- what are you seeing in them?
Most likely you are seeing in your world, exactly what you are thinking.
Try changing the talk!
Think this is easy? Yeah --- it's not! It takes practice and patience. But most of all it takes an understanding of what you are actually doing. It takes understanding that the talk is creating the situations that you are now in.
Your external conditions are mirroring your internal conditions.
Clean your room --- straighten up your space --- calm that internal disorder, and watch the external calm as well!
This week spend some time observing your internal chatter? Is what you are saying what you want in your life? Do you like the chatter? Does it feel good? What doesn't feel right? You have the power and the control to change anything that enters your internal world.
USE IT --- and watch the external flow with it!
Align your thoughts with the magnificent --- and watch that appear!
