Stop that talk.

AND
...exactly how many times did I have this conversation with someone this week???? Truly --- way too many times as far as I'm concerned.
Every day I talk to at least one person, if not more than that, who is unhappy with themselves. Either it's their physical body or something that is occurring in their outside world, be it a job or a relationship. I find it very sad that there are so many people dissatisfied with " life
" in general.
Why are we like this? Why are we not happy with what was given us?
So, disclaimer here
, as I continue to write this --- yeah...I do it too!
It happens! There are mornings when " yikes
" is the first word out of my mouth! 😂 BUT...then I move on!
I think the first step in learning how to move past this is to see it for what it really is. We talked a week or so ago about intuition and ego.
They are polar opposites of each other --- and ego is not the voice we want to be tuned in to.
The thing about ego is, it's the voice we hear
--- very clearly
--- each moment of every single day
. Intuition, however, is the voice we can not hear. It's the feeling, the knowing --- the gut!
Ego tells us we're not good enough.
Ego tells us we're overweight.
Ego tell us we can't do (
insert your whatever here ).
Ego tells us we can't change.
EGO DOESN'T WANT US TO CHANGE!
Why? Because status quo is comfortable. Beating ourselves up because we're overweight is easier than taking the steps to change it. OR
--- to face the possibility that we won't change it and we will fail. Ego tells us we're not good enough --- because that keeps us from trying to be better.
Ego prevents us from loving fully --- so that we don't get hurt.
Ego is designed to keep us from failing --- but it essentially keeps us from living fully.
So when you're looking in the mirror, picking out your imperfections, and beating yourself up because of it --- that's your ego talking!
Because guess what --- you are beautiful, amazing, loving, capable, qualified and totally rocking this life experience just as you are!
AND...if anyone tells you differently --- move on!
Love yourself. Feed yourself the beautiful words that will enhance your life and the life of everyone around you!
I'm sharing this video
simply because I think it's amazing and encompasses the power of words in a beautiful way. Take a moment --- watch it, remember it, and put it into action in your life --- TODAY!
This week use powerful, uplifting and loving words in your life. Speak them to yourself and to others. Watch things change!
