The Ties That Bind...
May 2nd, 2022

There is a theory that everything is energy and all energy is connected by an invisible bond.
If you have ever heard the term “chakras”
then you know your body is energy. There are seven main energy centers of the body.
For those that have never heard this term, and without going into a lot of detail, let me provide a simple explanation. Chakra means “wheel” in Sanskrit. Energy centers or chakras are said to be spinning, spherical centers.
The seven main chakras of the body are:
1.The Root Chakra
2. The Sacral Chakra
3. The Solar Plexus Chakra
4. The Heart Chakra
5. The Throat Chakra
6. The Third Eye Chakra
7. The Crown Chakra
When energy in the chakras is balanced, we have a perfectly healthy person. Any imbalance will cause illness or stress.
The root chakra is our sense of security and balance.
Our connection to the earth and our belief and security that all our needs are met.
The heart chakra is fundamentally just love.
When balanced you are able to feel love and empathy for yourself and others --- unconditionally.
So back to all things are connected and that “tie that binds us”.
If this theory is correct than each one of us is connected to every other person on the planet. Some of those connections are close, loving and fulfilling connections. Others are distant and lacking love.
Some (more than any other)
are really unknown. There appears to be no connection between us and the stranger in the car beside us.
BUT, if indeed we are all connected, then it would also mean that one small gesture would have a ripple effect throughout the world. One small act of kindness would ripple way further than it appears to. Conversely one small act of anger would, as well, ripple way further than it appears to.
It’s all energy.
This past week or so, many of us have been feeling low energy. We are exhausted, our moods are low, possibly even feeling physically off. Depending on the physical symptoms you are experiencing, you could link that to what “chakra” or energy area is unbalanced in your body.
Understanding that can help you to rebalance the area and, possibly --- just possibly --- affect those around you. Just as an example,
I recognize this pattern in my own body. The physical symptoms I experience are often tied to what is going on in my world. I find myself occasionally allowing the energy of others to impact the energy in my body, and that will produce physical symptoms.
In order to stop this cycle, we need to rebalance our energy. How do we do this?
First and foremost is to recognize what is happening. Once we recognize that we are energy, and that we are both affected by the energy of the world
, as well as affecting the energy of our world, we have the ability to change it. What do we change?
That answer is simple --- the person in the mirror.
Change your thought patterns. Recognize that the energy you put out is going everywhere, to everyone, and right back to you. If you are angry, instead of spewing angry words at someone, allow yourself the moment to be angry and then release with all the love you can muster.
The more love that goes out into this crazy world we live in, the more that will radiate around and come back to us.
Remember, we have the power to change this entire narrative.
Every single thing you do, say, and feel matters.
We do not need to live in hate and fear. That is destructive.
We can always, always choose love. Even in anger and hurt --- we can choose a loving response. It is definitely a more difficult challenge --- but we have that power.
We are up to the challenge.
Rise to the challenge this week. Choose love in every and all situations. Be part of the movement to raise the vibration of this world to one of pure love!
