We're All Connected.
November 15th, 2021

Earlier this week someone shared a short video clip with me about a woman named Penny Wittbrodt who had a near-death experience. Whether you believe in this or not, I encourage you to take 25 minutes and listen to this video. What she says could change your outlook on life.
So what if we are all connected?
What if it is really the little things that matter?
I loved the part where she spoke about the $.72 cents she gave the woman in the grocery store line. I loved the fact that that small gesture affected this woman's life in such a positive way. I've always believed that we can change the world one small gesture at a time. If $.72 can have that effect, so can a smile, a hug, or a kind word.
Let's spread that everywhere!
What I really found powerful was the effect our thoughts have on others. Our thoughts!
Wow, who knew! Who knew that when we think negatively about other people, we are helping them to stay "stuck" in that space. I've written many times about not judging a person's station in life --- BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW THE FULL STORY
! When we choose to gossip or talk down about another individual and their behavior, or their choices, this is exactly what we're doing. We appoint ourselves judge and jury --- without knowing all the details. But what if it's true? What if, our thoughts and judgments of another person keep them stuck --- unable to move forward. Is that really what we want to do? Is that really our intention? Or would we rather help people move away from those things and onto a better and brighter life?
She's talking about the seemingly simple thoughts that we project onto others. We don't like someone's behavior, or their choices so we malign them with our thoughts. We are projecting that onto them --- and since we're all connected projecting it onto ourselves as well.
There are deeper hurts. Those times that someone has hurt us deeply and we're working on forgiveness. We all know it's simple to utter the word forgiveness but actually doing and feeling it is another process. Typically though with forgiveness, we are trying to heal our hurt and not 'necessarily' projecting negative thoughts onto another. We're working on the process. Being stuck in the inability to forgive is another issue altogether.
How can we use this knowledge to better the world?
We're in a time of complete division. Everyone is angry at everyone else. We don't like someone's political point of view or their choices regarding any number of "hot button
" issues. What if people "more powerful" than us are aware of the power of thought? What if they are projecting division into our world and we're feeding off of it? Just think for a moment about the "WHAT IF" of that?
I have a philosophy in life that "if it can't hurt me, or anyone else, it's worth a try". This can't hurt anyone.
If we stop maligning others with our thoughts. If we think love, light, and healing to each and every human being, regardless of what they say or do ---- could we change the trajectory of this world?
Wouldn't it be worth a try?
So this week, be conscious of your thoughts. Put effort into changing a negative thought as soon as it manifests and change it into something positive. Use, humor. Laugh to yourself when you feel yourself getting tense. Smile more. Enjoy the moment! Send love and light to everyone that crosses your path --- and shut down those negative thoughts as soon as they begin!
Remember the power of $.72 and pay it forward!
HARNESS YOUR TRUE POWER THIS WEEK! We got this!!!!
